I succumbed again.....

I really like the CZ 75 B I bought last year. It is just a fine handgun. I hadn't had it long before I started thinking about a compact or subcompact to go with it.

My brother and I were visiting gun and pawn shops in Tallahassee and a couple of small surrounding towns, seeing gun shops with an amazing number of customers for a work day, but not much inventory. No used guns again.... On our last stop the shop had a CZ Rami, the subcompact '75. It was the model I wanted, with the safety instead of the safety/de-cocker. It comes with a flush-fit ten round mag and an extended 14 rounder. (It will also accept all of the hi-cap mags for the 75B) Amazingly the price was not as bad as one might expect, and the guy was willing to work with me on a lower price, basically paying for sales tax, plus a little. I thought it was a good deal, so I plunked out the cash. I only fired one magazine through it today and it felt just like the '75. I intend to air it out tomorrow. The piece doesn't photo well with my cameras and skills, but it has a nice, almost matt black finish. (not the grey in the pic)

It is kind of odd to me that this pistol, while getting rave reviews and having stellar sales, was discontinued at the end of last year. Who knows what that will do to the value over time.

There was little ammo available, unless you wanted to pay $75.00 per box for .38 Spl. The guy I bought the RAMI for offered me a break on some 9MM, $40.00 per box instead of the regular $50.00...I declined.

Nice, I have been fighting with myself over the full-size CZ 75.

3" bbl. ? Is that bigger than a P 64 ? Close to my Taurus PT 9 probably.
