1943 Izhevsk authenticity

Post by Rtop01 »

Hi guys,

Training my skill before entering the market to pull the trigger for 91/30 sniper. Would you mind taking a look at the pictures and letting me know what you think about how legit this rifle is? I’m seeing a missing scope # on the shank and that’s my biggest concern. PU scope itself is looking legit. Am I missing something?

Scope, mount and base look OK.

Show us
1) the import marks. Who imported this?
2) under the bend of the bolt handle
3) the left side of the barrel shank (as close as you can get and still have a clear photo.
4) scope numbers on the scope.

Rest looks OK for now.

Dear Darryl,

Thanks for taking a look. Unfortunately, this rifle has been sold and no more pictures could be provided. I don’t want anybody to play a detective, but all I could figure out was that there were no serials on shank or receiver, and that the importer mark was at the muzzle.
