I have a Mossberg semi-auto in 28 gauge and it works great on chickens. No problem finding 28 gauge ammo up here.

My brother in law back east in Onterrible hunts coyotes with dogs and his go to gun is a 12 gauge. He said he likes using #4 buckshot but recently he has a hard time finding some. I found some online and sent him the link so now he's good for this season but who knows what next season will be like.
I told him to stockpile a bunch now just incase.

Shotshells are just about the easiest reloading there is, and casting buckshot just as easy with minimal equipment. I made my own buck and ball loads for years before I got lazy and started using store bought triple ought buck.

My M1 carbine ammo arrived the other day but damn it's -22C and that is to cold to sit at the shooting bench. :o

Four boxes @ $28.99 per box sale price...Reg price was $32.99...Plus 5% sales tax plus flat rate of shipping of $25 = $152 total.

Come on warm weather.

Friend of mine calls me from a flea market the summer before Covid, guy here has .30 carbine. How much he got, and how much money? 25 box's of 50 rounds each Federal American Eagle. $20 a box if you take it all. BUY IT! .30 carbine doesn't show up often around here at that price, and I am sure I could offer fifty a box now and not find any. Asshole this morning tried to sell me Wolf 7.62x39 at $1.50 a round, asshole was informed I take a dim view of price gouging, and I have a long memory. Not that I need any extra for the SKS

9x19 is unobtainium here in Arizona. I don’t see the ammunition situation improving until the end of the year-maybe. Reloading components will remain scarce until the ammunition situation improves. I did manage to buy a couple of boxes of 7.62x39 at a lgs the other day. Shelves are bare in the big box retailers and only stuff on the shelves at the lgs is hunting or odd military caliber cartridges.
