First FN Owned

Post by BiTTeR-SiN »

Always had a thing for the .40 cal, but I've fell in love with this pistol. Ridiculous now a days finding a hammer, got lucky with this baby right before the world starting turning other way. Sad thing to discontinue though, why people hating on the .40 cal for?

I've been wondering about this myself... I don't own a 40cal but there seems to be a lot of them coming up for sale being traded or returned LEO pistols.
Maybe like the 17cals that didn't go over well several years back. Now they're a hot item..

I like the .40, but found out that they aren't a hot item when I went to trade one. All the place wanted was 9mms. The market is a weird place.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I've enjoyed em since I was a kid, but strangely never was a Glock fan. Last pistol I had was a Springfield XDM 40, managed to out-shoot a many Glock to trade off and lose :D Guess I better learn how to do reloads and save myself some trouble. Plan on getting some engraving done, something like
