Pony Ride from the past or Snake Bit

Post by SA1911a1 »

This 15 Oz., 2", 6 shot revolver was the shit in the early 60s. The first Colt "Snake Gun," this revolver, made in 1965, is nearly identical to the gun that Jack Ruby used to silence Lee Harvey Oswald. This particular piece, showing probably less than average wear and damage than most 60 year old used firearms is tight as a tick and has a great trigger pull. I drop this in a coat pocket when I am headed out, packing light, or use a couple of leather carry options. Six rounds of HP gives a reasonable sense of security in tight places. Even in the day with high-capacity pint size semi-autos, the good wheel gun holds it's own as a defensive weapon.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
