New to me BRNO no. 4

Post by CalFed »

I won a BRNO no.4 rifle at an online auction this weekend. Looks like it is good shape.

Looks good. Tell us how it shoots once you pick it up.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Nice. I have a BRNO #1. They are good rifles.

Are they similar to the current CZ line of .22 rifles?

My #1 has a new CZ mag in it, so yes, they are very similar.

Thanks, guys!

The rifles that I got at the auction all arrived at my FFl yesterday and all of them look great. The BRNO model 4 was in particularly nice shape and came in its original box. It honestly looks like it has never been fired, as does a Model 70 target rifle that I got at the same auction.

I'll take some better pictures when the 10 day "cooling off" period is over.
But here is a pic of the "bits" included with the rifle.

Later, when I was looking at the manual, this fell out...
