91/98/23 Polish Mosin/Mauser

I’ve been looking at info on the Polish carbine , 91/98/23 not that I could afford one unless I run up on one in a pawn shop that don’t know what it is.
Wikipedia says it is 39” with a 24” barrel. That doesn’t add up. That doesn’t add up . An m44 is 40 inches with a 20” barrel. Anyone know what actual length is?

If I am not mistaken, there is one listed in the Showcase but I'll have to see if I can find the link.

The article in the showroom says the barrel is 20cm shorter. Shorter than a rifle or dragoon ?
Making it 19.88 Or 22.6? The shorter would come closer to 39” OAL
