Help with a Tulski import
Help with a Tulski import
Does anyone have any history/information on the Mosins exported by Tulski? I'll I have to work with is their mark and four digit serial on the barrel. Heres a Left, Top, and Right of the receiver and barrel. Any help is appreciated, I'm not asking for a full blown history l, yet. That's half the fun is the research, but I'm at a point where I haven't found much. Thanks you all in advance.

Re: Help with a Tulski import
Sorry for all the confusion! Still learning the forum.
So as far as I've been able to tell this is a Tulski Expoted rifle, who imported it, I don't know. What I do know is that the the four digit "dot matrix" like S/N is the only import mark that I've been able to spot. Nothing on the barrel, nothing hiding under a plate. I figured this is a good place to start regarding hunting down information about this Mosin. I'll post more pictures when I get a second.

After reading some more, I discovered what the problem was. Can't upload pictures with >1000pixels across or top to bottom. Again thank you all for your patience.

Tulsky triangle T confused with Tikka sometimes, does it have filled holes inside when you slide the bolt back ?

Last group of photos! Again any help would be awesome. Looking around different forums and posts ive learned a little bit, but when it comes to the finer details I'm a out of my league. Speaking of advanced knowledge with these rifles, what litterateur do you all suggest? I'd like to not have to ask a bunch of questions one day

Also I know I didn't take may pictures of the bolt, but I can if requested. There's marks all over it too, I just ran out of time today. Taking these pictures, picking out the best, then making them compatable for the forum to accept, that took some time. The woman was a little pissed, but whatever

I've had this rifle for years, and unfortunately life kinda gets in the way most weekends I'm not shooting USPSA.
What about the markings that are all over this guy? Like the tombstone C18, the circle 52 on the receiver, things like that. Even information on the optic would be appreciated. I went through The Ratnik PU Scope Collection and didn't see anything like the one on the rifle. Looking around other forums, I've only seen one other person with the same kind of markings on there Mosin optic, but nothing was mention about it. Again and weird origin stories about some of the markings is gratefully welcomed

Re: Help with a Tulski import
Hello, i saw the same thing as well. It seem that the optic has been painted and if you scratch you might find some russian marks under the painting.
Re: Help with a Tulski import
I'll take your word for it. Not going to scratch of the paint.
Re: Help with a Tulski import
UPDATE: the п inside circle mark found on the reciever wall, it means that the rifle's strength was tested with the factory's "test ammo". From what I've read, that "test ammo" was pretty much an equivalent to +P+ ammo.
Re: Help with a Tulski import
It's not correct. П in circle (or O in circle) marking at the reciver or at any other part except barrel - pressure or strength test with a special device
