Not much, if you are looking for a shooter they're ok, if a collectable piece not worth it. They are scrubbed, re-numbered (AKA forced matched), refinished, etc in the US. So they have lost their collectabilty.

Just type Mitchell's Mausers into our site search box and you'll get 114 hits, then enjoy the reading.

Don't forget it's also probably not even a K98k but more likely a Yugo Mauser their selling as a K98k. I.E I've seen one of their letters of Authenticity for a M24/47 say it's a M24/47 K98k authentic rifle. Or ya know this guy shows their misleading ads even. He also hits the nail on the head if you just have to have a k98k their ok to go with then but no value there at all. Outside of the fun of shooting atleast.

As you can tell, a Mitchel's Mauser is not well liked in any collectors forum. They are a "HUMPED" Mauser.

Not worth the paper the letter of provenience signed by Otto von Scheisskopf is printed on.

Hell yes Zombies, saw some last night. Or do you mean the band ? They are ok I guess. I like the Eagles pretty well.

The ads for Mitchell Mausers are full of misinformation and BS. If I could buy a real nice one for $300, I would, and use it as a shooter. As far as "Collector Grade" goes, that is serious bull shit. :big shock:

It's that time of the year again.... As if anyone would ever pay 2 grand for a K98 lol. Also the image in said email looks oddly like a M48 they've monkeyed with.

Greetings!!
We have just found A FEW LAST German Mauser rifles and Pistols. We have made them available for purchase. We only Have a Few to offer. We have combed the countryside worldwide and it looks like these could be some of the Last German Mauser rifles we will ever have in our inventory. We have only a few rifles for those collectors who have been looking for a rare piece of history for their collection and have not been able to locate them yet. The last time I offered German Mauser rifles was quite a while ago. I believe you know how difficult it is to find a German Mauser in this condition these days. Our K98k German Mauser rifles start at $2,000.00.
We also have a small selection of P-08 Luger and P-38 Walther Presentation grade pistols for purchase. These are rare original pieces of history in excellent condition that should not be missed to be added to your collection.
You should call me direct ASAP if you have interest. These rifles and pistols are in excellent condition. I expect these last pieces to move quickly. This is a first come, first served opportunity. Contact me and I will be happy to let you know the status of our inventory of these last few available pieces of history. Please call me before these are gone forever.

Best regards,
Michael
