I think we need to destroy the Woodbeef key board. Eliminate the Drools here. :big shock:

Like we need one more reason to hate Canada. You already have kick ass beer, better movie making, cuter Asians that are easy (don't ask), cops that ride actual horses and now extreme milsurp envy! *groan*

Ugh, I want an SVT-40, just not for the prices they trade for here in the states...

These places in Canada are selling some nice firearms, but this is nothing I have not seen for sale in the states and added to my own collection over the years. Mauser's, Mosins, Enfields, Lebels, K31's ,SKS, STV40 and so on, none of this is rare or unusual. Troll gunbroker and you will find it all eventually, the prices are lower, but then outside of GB you can still find a SVT for $400-$500, or even less as someone did here last year. I love the Chinese polytech M14's listed under US in the first link, now that is pathetic :) No Garands, M1 Carbines, or decent M14 commercial clones.

This is what came to mind as I viewed that site:

Once I had a little girl (substitute gun)
Sometimes I think about her
But you know she's not really there
When memories do call
I just, I just can't live without her
But tryin' all the time is so hard to bear
Heartbreaker, can't take her
Heartbreaker is bringing me down
Heartbreaker, can't take her
Heartbreaker, bringing me down

Which of you old farts can name the group and time frame?

I concur. My last SVT40 cost $450 and I sold it on GB for just over $1200, only a few months ago. They are around at those prices, just have to look....Hard.
