Just got in some interesting stocks

Post by capt14k »

Mailman brought a package today from a friend. In it was some interesting stocks. Didn't have time to take full pics but Swedes look to have some modifications to them. M91 one has stock disc hole, one is AV3 marked, and one has Civil Guard District. The coolest one is a Walnut SAhL shooters club JK M39 diopterre stock but someone filled in the bolt and Diopter cutout with putty. I think I should be able to remove easy enough. I will add some better pics over the next couple days.

Your going to get offers when people start noticing what's in that handguard pile. Nice haul!
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Here is a close up of just the Swedish stocks. Wondering what the cutout is on the two M96 stocks and why there is a filled in rear sling swivel on the M94 stock. Was it maybe made from a M96 stock? Image

Is there anything that isn't done to Mauser actions? The seller couldn't supply any information?

Seller I believe is a grandson of a Continuation War armorer. His father was also a firearms collector. He doesn't collect firearms. He is a uniform collector. He doesn't know as much about the firearms, but the uniforms and accessories he knows more than anyone I have met.

Sniper? Bent bolt would make since a bent bolt would need a cut out?

Swedish M96 stocks are cut for Hauges Diopter which I managed to grab on in Sweden. All Swedes are available for sale, same with M91 except Civil Guard Marked, M39 except Walnut SAhL stock, M/28-57, and 91/30 stocks
