K31 Followed me home Friday

Post by Lavitias »

As the title states this baby followed me home Friday she has some very slight surface pitting on the left of the receiver but other then that she looks quite pretty.

Nice, does it have a tag under the buttplate? :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

It was a good catch and while sadly it doesn't have the tag under it. The dealer I picked it up from explained why. I guess he has a habit of pulling the tags out and seeing if he can contact the person first to see if they'd be ok with whoever got the rifle tracking them down. In the case of mine the soldier that last had it has passed away apparently and the family asked not to be bothered. Other times he'll pull the tag because said soldier doesn't want to be bothered. So while I don't have the tag she's still a fine catch.

The K31 is a nice rifle and damn fun to shoot. Best thing is all that surplus GP11 makes it easy to have fun and not spend a ton of money.

Thanks for that miner but I already knew of that site and you got her serial number wrong I know crappy camera. It's actually 873887 which puts her as a 1946 but thanks for trying to help.

I smoked a lot of pot in the early part my life, but I never wanted to get kinky with a gun. Now, to tell the truth, I may have tried eating the thing if the cookies had run out.

We can invent new words with all this creativity flowing. :cool2: Someone with a sex with guns problem might be a fflamite. A bore whore. A stock sucker. Not to confuse with someone who wears guns during the act. That's Matt Dillon syndrome.
To Eat a gun Steve? Musta been Panama gold. Or the mushrooms. My teeth are too bad now to even think about it.

K31's are outstanding shooters, they are quick to acquire the site and send a bullet right where you aim and allow a follow up shot quick, these are really a pleasure to have.

My son and I took our K31 out yesterday and shot it (and an M1D). I'm not sure there is a bolt gun with a smoother action than a K31. When the Zombie Apocalypse comes, that's my bug out gun.

You know, I recall reading of someone saying if enough people say something is going to happen, and say it enough times then in some magical way it somehow becomes reality and happens. I can not stress enough how very much I DO NOT want that particular apocalypse to come to be in any form, for any reason. Why can't we just say " when the candy, chocolate and, bunny rabbits apocalypse happens....
