I immediately modified it. It comes with a pink and a black set of grips and the pink are installed so the women don't have to do anything to it. Os, I changed the grips out to the black one's. I may live in California, but I don't .....

I'll take some photos tonight, but I got a box of Federal self defense rounds. They are made especially for the "micro" revolvers. .38 special +P. Very vicious looking rounds. Got a box of standard .38 special round nose for putting into a target. The self defense rounds the bullet sits inside the case and is flush with the top of the case. A huge hole down the middle. They are called "extreme shock" rounds. +P, so they are somewhere between a .38 special and a .357 round for power.

I have to say, the ammo adds a huge percentage of the total weight of this revolver. I'm a little concerned it only has 5 rounds, but I guess if you are careful, you don't need a lot more then that. Also loading is a bit slower then the autos. But the weight, that weight is why I bought it. It is over all nothing.

Fun piece.
Forgot to mention, recoil increases with every shot on an airweight for sure. May want to reconsider those pink grips though.....

OH, pink grips are gone! :chuckles:

I'm not overly excited about the "pull" on this revolver. It is pretty stout when I'm used to a semi auto. And being double action with no hammer, there is little to do about it. I was wondering if they made a "softer" spring or something? This is one of the things I dislike about a revolver.

In 38 special or 357.

But it seems like a lot of power in that light of a gun. I want the low weight for my pocket, but anyone have or fire one of these? I wonder what the recoil is?

They sell starting in the mid $400 range and go into the mid $600. Some hammerless, other with a hammer (always like a hammer, but I understand the hammerless being easier to get out of your pocket without hanging up on the hammer.

The biggest problem with these for me, is if I have to shoot one in 5 seconds I'm gonna be deaf for a couple of days. Stick it in their gut to muffle the sound if you can.

I have carried a S&W 642 for a few years. It's in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster and rides easy in the front pocket. I have 6 more rounds on a reloading strip in my watch pocket. I use a flap from a Desantis super fly if I am wearing a tucked in shirt which eliminates printing. I'm giving a final exam right now with it in my pocket (It's legal here). It does likes a tight grip when you shoot. No possible hammer bite so I like to hold it high. It is the only revolver I have that seems to shoot similar groups whether I'm shooting two handed, strong side or weak side. Ditto on the +P is more than enough.
