Odd rifle bayonet

Post by Rustynail »

I found this on a online forum and wanted to hear your thoughts. The owner says in a old bayonet but I see a old Japanese tanto possibly a ww2 bring back. He may part with it for the right price. Can anyone here help me?

First things first, pictures are going to be needed to give a correct answer. After that you'll get some awesome help in which to base your decision on.

Definitely not looking like a bayonet. Hopefully the people in the know will be along to help you out.

Looks like something you'd use to filet while deep sea fishing lol. Whatever the case though hopefully someone in the know will be along to help you out.

Lol on the filet knife. Im thinking it could be something like this bring back below. The trouble I'm having if it looks authentic enough to take a chance on buying it. There can't be very many of these floating around.Image
