Kali Key

Post by Rowdy1 »

Saw this on YouTube. Kali Key turns your AR into a bolt action rifle. Costs $75. If you live in California and install this you can keep your pistol grip, stock, etc and be compliant.

I would prefer a Mosin of any model or year over that , a proper bolt action rifle. I would pay more for a Mosin.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

An AR in semi-auto has already lost it's value as a military weapon, turn it into a bolt action and I see no value at all, unless you just want a gun that sort of looks like a military gun. I am with Jim on this one, give me an M-38 over such a piece.

The only reason for this is that it lets AR owners in California keep, their pistol grips, adjustable stock, etc. Without it you have to remove the stock, grip, etc.

Yup. Just enough to keep their ARs compliant in the DPRK until they can afford to move someplace where dense and reason prevail-or until a conservative Supreme Court rules California style gun control unconstitutional.

The fin looks like it might be better than the pistol grip.

You know, it actually a little more comfortable with the pistol grip slanted back like that (for me anyway). The old school stock actually is a little longer which is also a little nicer for me. Won't "adjust" for others to use, but...oh well.

The last thing was I removed the flash hinderer that came on it and replaced it with a compensator. That is actually really nice It helps a bit with the front end climbing. But it doesn't climb that much anyway. But who needs a flash hinderer anyway.

Those are the three things you are not supposed to put on it or it becomes an assault rifle in Calif.

1) Pistol grip where you can get your thumb around it.

2) Flash supressor (compensator is OK)

3) Adjustable rear stock.

So now it is just a hunting rifle! LMAO. See how stupid they are?

Oh, and I can remove that stupid damn bullet button. It's not required now that it is just a hunting rifle.

What it comes down to is appearance to them. That it. I now have a rifle which is more accurate and has a higher rate of controlled fire and I can use standard mags.
