1917 SCW Remington M91 Mosin

1917 SCW Remington M91 Mosin

I have been on the lookout for a Remington M91 to go with my New England Westinghouse. I was very surprised when I came home from work Monday and saw this one for sale. I made a quick deal and I got it in the mail today. Very interesting rifle. I believe this one never made it to Russia and was in the ones sent to Mexico and then used in the Spanish Civil War. No import marks. Complete non matching and missing the handguard, front band, and the tang action screw. Very cool piece with its own history.
