I am currently a member of two national associations (NRA and USCCA) in addition to my local pistol club. I’m also on the email list for GOA, so I get the information emails from all three. I also subscribe to the email lists of anti-gun organizations such as The Trace (flamingly liberal anti-gun e-rag), but do not financially support them. The reason I read those is intelligence. Knowing what your enemy is doing is half the battle.
Bottom line is that there is strength in numbers. We have to work together for the group, to help our brothers and sisters in places like CA, NY, MA, NH and NJ to stop the spread of the liberal, anti-gun cancer and eventually right things in those states. United We Stand-Divided We Fall.
Here is a good example of someone trying to "do something" other then bitch at us here. Life in CA with firearms is hard. I don't ask for any pitty. I decided to stay here (for now) and fight the bastards. What pisses me off is other so called "gun rights advocates" climbing our backs. I don't get it at all. If you want to brag how good you have it, that's great. I'm happy for you, I really am. But don't make it harder for us because you are an idiot. You are either an advocated for gun rights or you are not. If you knock down "gun rights advocates" you are an "anti-gun advocate"......plain and simple and have no business on a pro firearms forum. "Divide and conquer" is their motto. They do it well, we see it here used all the time. "Oh, we'll let the shotgun guys go, but not the handguns". After, they turn on the shotguns. We know how they work. And having that crap come from your own side (from out of state) is very annoying. Choose your side. Stick to it.
I also contact my legislators whenever an issue that involves my interests comes before their legislative body. With the tools provided by NRA-ILA and GOA, there’s really no excuse not to contact them. The groups that make the most noise get the attention of the legislators. Support the pro-gun legislators during the election cycles too.
Everyone who is really pro-gun/Second Amendment should join at least one national association. An annual NRA membership can be had for about $40. If you can afford to buy a couple of boxes of ammunition, you can afford to join the NRA.
It really gets me when the media describes the NRA as the lobby of the gun manufacturers. That lobby is the NSSF. The NRA is 3+ million men and women who own guns or support the Second Amendment. Yes, some of them may work in the firearms industry, but the NRA represents its members, not the industry.
This is an exception to the rule as it is germane to the purpose of this forum-that and the owners and administrators have the latitude to initiate such a discussion if they see fit.
Voting is only one part of the fight. We have to make certain that our pro-gun allies have the resources to counter the activities of the gun control factions. Unfortunately, they have sugar daddies like Bloomberg and Soros. That means we have to come up with money to counter their influence.

Oh please, spare me your overlord BS crap! Set the standard, enforce the standard, they shouldn't have the latitude to do and say what they want, while the rest of us have to abide by the rules!! Fuck that and those that think otherwise.
7. No political discussion. We are not equipped to handle political arguments here. Firearms legislation may be discussed, but if it takes too much of a political turn it will be removed (at the Administrators discretion).
Go read the rules before you open your mouth. That way you won't look like a total idiot. It in there just as he says. If you don't like the rules here, go someplace else.
This is not about politics, it's about opening your mouth and bad mouthing the same people who are trying to do the same damn thing you are. You have any idea who you are fighting against? The same people who are trying to fight these idiots in Sacramento. Who in the hell needs support like you in this fight. Get lost.
