Shipping Ammo?

Post by ffuries »

Is the shipping of ammo from Canada to the US illegal? Tried researching this and the answers are contradicting from one site to another, or just too damn confusing to understand.

All I want to buy is a single round of obsolete ammo, that chances are won't fire. The company has Canadian only policy, which I understand.

But what is the legal policy towards collectable obsolete ammo being transferred between the two countries?

I'm thinking Customs and stuff would probably call the ATF and try to label you as a terrorists or some shit. Unless of course you know a importer willing to import it at no cost.
