H&R ss 22

Post by +dhic »

I bought this mod 751 H&R single shot a couple of months ago. Replaced the end cap-front sight and mounted this old scope on
it. I'm going to dig out some wolf match and take it to the range. I think this one was made in the late 60s. It's small and light enough to make a perfect first shooter. Now we need some great grand kids to shoot it.

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Neat looking little rifle! It should be quite accurate. 8-)

equation, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a
computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

Now that is nice. A single shot Mannlicher stock 22 is a cool addition to any collection. I don't remember seeing anything like it that I can remember.
