I got this a couple years ago on a different forum because I wanted a Russian SKS next to my Yugo 59/66. It's all matching with a force matched magazine. I've never shot it but, plan to fix that soon. I don't know a whole lot about the SKS or the import waves, so anything you all can tell me about it, would be great.

Still a fine looking carbine. Bluing was nice enough to leave it as it was during refurbishment.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Nice SKS. I like that it has the dark stock, original blueing and "white" bolt. All around, its a very nice piece and one to be proud of!

Thanks, all. What do you think about the bayonet? I've had a few people say it was probably polished after it was purchased here in the U.S.

Many Soviet bayonets were high polished in Russia.
