Just did some horse trading with spongemonkey.

Post by websterz »

And he is a stand up guy to do business with! Thanks to him my 1965 Chi-Com is once again wearing the proper wood stock and blade bayonet. Soon she'll also have the correct cleaning rod and kit as well! I can finally retire the ugly ATI plastic stock. Maybe now my AK will stop giggling every time I put her back in the safe. ;mywink; I'll post pics as soon as the rest of the parts come in. Thanks again Mike!

I did a small purchase from him a few weeks ago with the same positive experience.

Nice stock, great guy, got it, now, how about the horse? Does it have a name? Pictures?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Her name is Lihua, pronounced lee-HWA. It's Chinese for beautiful and elegant. You will get to see her tomorrow.

Yes spongemonkey is a good stand up guy. Certain people who will remain nameless tried to soil his reputation. I'm glad it was to no avail. My mother always told me its those who live in glass houses that cast the first stone.

Wasn't me, I don't "soil" reputations, I just smack people around a little bit when they make me 'cause they pissed me off.
