A shorty shotty

Post by Sonny »

A Canuck defender...A cute little 12 gauge pump shotty.

14 inch barrel
3 inch chamber
5 round capacity
3 choke tubes
sling swivels
and nice Turkish walnut furniture.

Yup it's made in Turkey and from what I have read the reviews are good..No I haven't shot it yet.Tomorrow maybe.

This would make a good little shotgun for things like.. bow hunting, stream fishing, berry picking or just to have in the camper incase Yogi tries to steal your pic-a-nic baskets.. :D

Oh..... yes I admit that part of me bought it because of the cool logo on the receiver..

Ordered it from Bullseye.. http://www.bullseyelondon.com/canuck-de ... f1214.html

Up here there are no limits on barrel length as long as it's a factory barrel.

If you cut a long barrel down yourself then we are limited to 18.5 inches..

Yeah some laws just don't make sence do they? :vconfused:

Not my vid but still nice except for the ending..

The Norincos are a piece of crap..First time I fired a 3 inch 00 buck the stock split right behind the right hammer. :o

The second time the stock shattered.. :beek:

If you ever forget the national anthem, half of it's on the side.....

Neat. Wish the ATF didn't tax us to death and make us jump through many loopholes to get one, but I wouldn't trade CCW for it.

Nice, but too short, you want at least some range, 20" is what I use on most defensive shotguns, except the Mossberg cruisers that are 18.5

That would be so nice for clearing the hallway.....but, American law makers push through "lawS" that they 'think' may the citizens FEEL good!!

No particular reason for the laws but WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!! KNEE JERK legislation.......... :)

Short barrel shotguns have been illegal in the US since before WWII. There was a reason they were outlawed, and the population supported the laws. If you think that they are bad laws, work to change them.

Some gun laws in both of our countries don't make sence..I can legally own a shotgun with a 8.5 inch barrel.

https://www.canadaammo.com/product/deta ... d-shotgun/

But a handgun with a barrel of less than 105mm (4 1/8 inch) is prohibited to me..really?

I can buy a handgun with a barrel that is 4 1/8 inches long but not one that is 4 inches long.

A bonus with the Canuck, Sonny; If you forget the words to the National Anthem, half of it is on the side of the action......
