High standard m107 military supermatic citation

Post by Eastmesamosin1942 »

Just acquired a high standard m107. Don't have to much info on the gun.it came to me from a friend who is not into guns. It was their dads gun, but just wanted to get it out of the house. Looking for more info on the gun?

cleaned it up last night and didn't notice any issues. The barrel is in great shape. Have no idea when the gun was last fired, should it go to a gunsmith?

Thanks ImageImage

In regards to being safe to shoot; If you feel it's not safe it would be prudent to bring it to a gunsmith. I would however go over the links above... There is step-by-step instructions in the manuals.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the links. Do you have experience with these guns? Are they good shooters?

I have shot Hi Standards like that one. They are top notch shooters, and demand a pretty penny when they come up for sale.

I doesn't need to go to a gunsmith unless it doesn't function properly. I would say that it will work very well.

They are excellent target pistols; The military used them for their Smallbore Pistol teams for many, many years. The rear sight setup is a bonus. 8-)

Buy shells by the brick and shoot it. By the time you get to the second brick you probably won't even consider selling it.

I wish the OP would return with an update on this pistol. I have a soft spot for the High Standards.

I have one of these and I use it for bullseye competition. Great pistols
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
