DON'T shoot steel cased ammo through it. I speak from experience. (Also, the manual says so.) Other than that, mine was accurate and fun to shoot. Mine had the S&W mag. grip.

A friend of mine used to have one. Very fun carbine to shoot, and was pretty darn accurate too. Congratulations!

Russia made some in '43, called PPS-43. Originally in 7.62x25, Radom now makes 'em in 9mm.

Cross-posting, are we? The PPS-43 is nothing like the SUB-2000 in design or operation, much less caliber. :vconfused:

That's not a 9MM semi auto short rifle? My PPS is, I'm sure the design is different, I doubt the performance is.

The confusion was because the thread is specifically about the Kel-Tec Sub-2000, not PCR's in general. I'm sure your PPS is as fun and accurate, but Sponge was looking for input about the Sub-2000. Btw, Sponge, the Blue Force cocking knob is a good investment.

I have the Glock version of the original model. Bought it used from a FL gun shop for $150. This was back when people ridiculed all things Kel-Tec and thought it was a piece of crap. I recognized it as unique, and I loved how packable it is and the fact it's 9mm. I think it's one of my most fun guns to shoot.
