Brass swap.

Post by websterz »

I know many members here reload, and if they're like me they have picked up a bunch of brass at the range in calibers that they don't shoot or reload. I figured there was an opportunity to do a little swapping for everyone's benefit. If you have brass to swap list it here and see if you can trade it for something you can use. Also list the calibers you reload so folks know what you're looking for. Please use PM's to contact other members about swaps so we don't clutter the forum any more than necessary. I'll start the ball rolling.

The calibers I currently reload:

9mm Luger
.40 S&W
.45 acp
.357 Magnum/.38 Special
.308
.243

Surplus brass I have:

.50 AE - 40 once fired Hornady

.50 GI - 13 once fired

.38 Super -102 mixed range brass

.380 acp - 400 mixed range brass

i have the following:
380 Auto- 323
9mm Luger- 163
38 Special- 59
40 S&W- 260
45 Auto/ LPP- 49

I also have real small amounts in:
300 Blk. 6
223/5.56- 16
45 Auto SPP- 9
7.62x25- 4
25 Auto- 2
270 Win.- 1

Now for the tough part, the only caliber I need is 7.62x54R. Yeah I know, nobody wants to let go of Mosin ammo. But everything else I load I have a good amount on hand.

i have tons of 9mm and 40, tried to give some to Rongo- he's got plenty. too. The only thing I reload that I'd like more brass for is 45LC, but it's only for the Derringer, so not a big deal if I don't get any.

I may have some .45LC out in the shop. I'll take a look. If I do I'll swap ya for some 9mm.

Are you you willing to trade some once fired for some of your reloads. If so how many for a box of ammo?
