I'm very interested in this belt, yes we have the same in France but more expensive, so I will buy your. Do you have the little tool for easy and quick loading ?

:) Thanks
The stripper clips (little tool) you refer to are available on the same source as the sling (belt). Be careful as there are fakes listed there also. Possibly a member here can recommend a trusted seller.

It's better to own a gun without never need to use it that to have no gun and need one one day...

Is that caliber some sort of Finnish conversion?
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

It is, before and after ww2 the hunting law stated that the minimum caliber for moose was 8mm. If this was to stop the civil guard members using up essential ammo stores whilst hunting to feed their families I'm not sure but it is a story that persist. Either way the barrels were either re bored to .323 or changed.

what is tang date? Looks like receiver has czarist crest? So could be earlier than date on barrel.

No date found, but Westinghouse only made them between 1915 and 1918. The deliveries stopped when Lenin & co took over. In my mind it should be a 15 or 16 as it made it's way to Europe, the crest is intact and it has German stamps on the stock. But in the end who knows.
