Is this a real one?

Post by Argyll »

I had a mosin a few years back and regrettably sold it. A 1934 hex receiver too

I am currently looking at this one

The owner has said the scope is a repro but I am not sure if the rifle itself is the real deal

Thanks in advance

Well in a word...yes. Its a real rifle. :chain: Just kidding you there...couldnt resist.

But you would need to post lots and lots of pics to see if it was an original sniper. Look at some of the other posts in the sniper section to see what pics are posted to make evaluations. The scope mount is not a PU which is the type that year would have. If it is had mounting holes for a PU then why would someone put that mount on it? See where Im going here...Hope that helps. 8-)

Real rifle. Fake "sniper" in regards to being authentic sniper production by the Soviets.
