My interest was piqued by a recent post regarding SKY M39 serial numbers on another forum and I decided to get mine out of the safe and check the s/n. Of course, it was at the back of the safe, so I had to pull out all the other Finns out to get to it.
Decided it was a great family photo op...

Great collection of really fine rifles. Just to be curious - on how many of them does the s/n on the magazine floorplate match that on the barrel?

Image seems to have disappeared, but when I did see it this morning, it was quite impressive.

Thanks, guys. I guess they just kind of accumulated over the years. They used to be quite a bit less expensive than they are now.

I didn't take an exact count, but probably about half.

No, there are duplicates...I made a list of the dates and factories...
1970 no maker 2
1968 no makers 1
1941 VKT 2
1942 SKY 1
1942 "B" 1
1942 Sako 3
1943 Sako 1
1944 VKT 4
I'm still in the hunt...would love to have a Tikka M39, a straight stock M39, and 1967 and 1969 no makers.
The problem is that the Finns have become a little pricey lately.

They have become a lot pricier since I got most of these. The Finns really didn't make many of these M39's and they seemed to have been "discovered" by collectors.
