I thought someone had stripped a rifles finish. Now I see. Very nice stripes.

Buy it, you know you want to, it's calling you, buy it, it's only money, any idiot with a ski mask and a two dollar Saturday night special can always get more of that at the local stop and rob. Go for it, grab that rifle, get it, that's what credit cards are for :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

What is it with the stripey Mausers? I have a similar Swede, and a VZ-24.

Been looking hard for a "strippy" Arasaka (probably will never see that)!!!!!!

I just had not seen a strippy Springfield 06 before. (first post). I'd of bought it right off normally, but the price was way too rich for me.

I'm a huge fan of stripey/figured wood. Rare on gunstocks-great on guitars.

I am building (or getting ready to) a PA long rifle. Not a kit. I have been working hard to find the perfect wood stock. I'm hoping the one I have will looks a little like that guitar!!
