Anyone seen this place for parts?
Anyone seen this place for parts?
Sorry I've been of the page for a while. Started a new job now that I retired from the Marine Corps. One of my coworkers collects guns and he showed me this WEB page. https://www.gunpartscorp.com If you click on M for Mosin you can surf to a numbered exploded view and the parts listed below. Has anyone ever ordered anything from them?

They have been around for years. They are a good source for almost any kind of firearm part.

I have been buying from them since the 1970's. They are only about an hour or less away from me upstate.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

They seem to have parts that others don't. I've ordered from them a few times for off the wall parts like an Ishpafore extractor spring and such. Never had a problem with them.

anyone ever use them to sell parts to? i have two old bolt action shotguns that i really do not know what to do with. wondering how much they would give me. i bought them thinking i was getting an awesome deal only to find that sears recalled them. i can get $50 per bolt, but that leaves me with 2 non working guns to find something to do with

If they are Sears bolt shotguns you probably won't have much luck. Sears recalled them years ago after a bolt retention failure caused them some legal issues. I don't believe anyone would want to retail the bolts. I see the shotguns listed on Gunbroker, but I don't see a lot of action on them. You can usually sell the complete gun for $75.00- $150 if you find the right buyer.gopedxr7 wrote:https://www.gunpartscorp.com/Sell-Your-Parts.htm

I have two of the Sears bolt guns. On both, I replaced the bolt retention screw with a larger set screw and I don't worry a bit about shooting them.
If they aren't Sears branded, you should be able to get a bit more for them.

thanks, some people say they are safe to shoot but i just am nervous. i am sure fine shot would be ok. but not worth the risk for a cheap gun. hopefully i can get 75 each for them.SA1911a1 wrote:If they are Sears bolt shotguns you probably won't have much luck. Re: Anyone seen this place for parts?
Gun Parts Corp has done ok by me. Like JYD, I've done business with them since they were Numrich Arms back in the 1970's. I've learned over the years, to be very specific communicating with them whether it be phone, email or off their website. That is if you want a particular part. They are on Ebay selling parts. What is pictured is not what you are going to get, as far as condition or finish, unless you ask. The people that pull the parts are fairly accommodating, surprising for a large company..I was not successful trying to sell them parts, getting severely lowballed enough to ask for them back. My experience, others may differ.

Money saving tip: If you call the sales line during regular hours a recording will give you a 4 number code to use. Providing you just use the online order system and do not talk to the sales dept for ordering. The code lets you save $4.95 off shipping. The code changes daily but it is good until midnight.

As always you guys are the best! Thanks so much for the info. As I need stuff I'll give them a call. Good tip on the code for money off shipping.

What they have there is just mind boggling. Their paper catalog is the size of a 1970's New York City phone book.
