Century PW87 - lever action 12g

Post by Brake Weight »

I saw one of these in a pawn shop several years back and I passed on it. But I've forever wanted one for some reason. They've been used in several movies and there's just something about them that is interesting. I can't afford a real Winchester 1887 or any of the Chiappa variants, but this Norinco clone was reasonably priced at just over $300.

An awkward, clunky action that was soon superseded by the Model 1893, but a fun range toy. I shot a round of Trap with one once, sure glad it wasn't doubles.

equation, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a
computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

It definitely is an awkward action. But it's a fun gun.
