That's way more barrel than any .22 needs! Well, Ruger does have a tendency to overbuild. Speaking of K22's there's one on a local auction here, but with a week left to go, it's at $550, and will probably end up at $800.

Murphy was an optimist.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an
invasion, butcher a hog, design a building, conn a ship, write a
sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the
dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve an
equation, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a
computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

Tell that to my H&R 5200. It's barrel is bigger than a 12 gauge. :)

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Very nice!
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

I received and installed a 8Lb Wolf trigger return spring, and a 13 Lb hammer spring. The action went from sore finger to a delight to pull the trigger. I have yet to function test to make sure that the 13Lb spring provides reliable ignition, but if what I read is any indication, it should be OK. I do have a 14 and 15 Lb spring to upgrade to should the 13 not have enough oomph in my particular pistol. We shall see.
