Awesome gift from an awesome friend!!

Post by websterz »

My best bud Randy, more like family than some of my blood kin, surprised the hell out of me yesterday. He and I, along with our buddy Jacoby, were taking a little road trip to Wichita yesterday. We planned to hit Cabelas, Harbor Freight and Twin Peaks, you know, Toys Tools and Titties. Randy shows up with two big bags in hand and proceeds to pull out and hand each of us a Pietta 1858 Remington 8" .44 revolver and a starter kit! Talk about being knocked speechless! The titties were nice too! :devil2:

Pics? To be specific considering all the things you may have taken pic of on that trip, pics of the 1858 Remington revolver, this is a mostly family type forum

Not the best pic. When we all get over being sick I'll get to the range and get some better shots.

Nice piece, and a leatherette covered flask, high class, nicer than the plain brass ones. You know how to use this weapon? If not ask and we can help, I have fired many a round out of the Remmy '58.

He surprised us again actually. He had initially ordered the 1851 Confederate Navy revolvers but they were out of stock. He thought the customer service rep understood to cancel the 1851's in lieu of the 1858's. Well, they kept the first order on backorder, ship when available. Long story short, now I have TWO awesome BP revolvers!! I'll post a pic of the Navy next time I get in the safe.

After working for six years at FSU, I am totally immune to the affects of the feminine physique. Well, almost totally.
