Rongo wrote:Very impressive... And good luck finding anything like this on today's collectors market. My first thought after seeing this is how did you find this rifle, was it still configured as a sniper and how did you manage to find nearly correct parts to complete it?
I sense an interesting story of an amazing journey here... Please share with us in the showcase so we can enjoy it too.

Well it all started on my recent trip to the Crimea when I stumbled into bunker in the port city of Sevastopol.........
Awh who am I trying to kid, found this one on the GB trader one Saturday afternoon, about 5 minutes after it was posted. I wanted it but had just spent some serious coin on another sniper scope ( which is still in transit) and the boat insurance renewal, which meant my Fun Funds where a little low. Well the wife walks into my man cave, see's it on the computer and asks " how much ? " well after telling her the price she asked " and you haven't said "I'll take it" and that is the story on this gem,..................
THE WIFE Made me do it !

I remember a while back that your collection cost you a new Mustang for the wife. Buick just came out with a new convertible model just in case you need something.
