If it fires black powder, it is discussed here.

Post by bunkysdad »

I got a email from Taylors and Co. and they seem to have some nice deals on a few BP revolvers if anyone is interested.

Nice deals, I already own everything on that page.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

The conversion cylinder is the best price I have seen one at but all I have is a brass frame Remington so I am considering a 1860 Colt Army.

Their store is a great place to visit anytime if one is in the area, especially if you like cowboy and black powder goodies. The discount table is even better

I picked this up there.... :D

The revolver, the cylinder or both?

I got both there. The conversion cylinder is a neat idea and works great, but it kind of tries my patience reloading it, it has to be removed fully to reload. I think it might get a little more cooperative after some use, that may be my problem, it's built tight. Also, if one were to go this route, make sure you have something like an ink pin handy, just in case, to push the empties out, they even make a tool that pushes all the empties out at once, but I didn't get it.
