Jail! Ha! I knew it! So, what was it, current events or did they finally find out you were the one who took the Lindbergh baby?

Just the costs of modern surgery and the wear I have put on this 71 year old body I guess. I was not willing to limp around or go nowhere with bad knees so this was my choice and is how my old body is trying to repair and adapt I guess. Bill :o

Judi you are indeed a brave lady! I never could dance worth a plugged nickel and I am sure that has not improved any with this operation. First full day of heavy rehab today and I yelled Uncle more than once. Hopefully the staples will come out next week and that will help my bending a bit. I can get 90 degrees but it is not 100% straight yet in two weeks. The other one went much faster so it seems to me anyway. I got my butt chewed out today for griping about healing up so slow and the male therapy guy told me to stop with the negative vibes and that I was 71 not 17. He does it in the same voice as the fellow who drove the Sherman in one of my favorite war movies. :D Bill

Bill's hit the ground this time and hasn't slowed down. When I spoke to him last he was planning to spend the Christmas season running up and down the east coast. Probably picking up more Mosins along the way I'm sure. He'll be in to reply I'm sure when he slows down for a couple days.

Your cat is known to rock the house when you are away Bill, 2-3 hundred cats from all over the east coast, mouse roast, live heavy metal band, the cops have to bust it up at 3am.

OK, now you are entering the "Crazy Cat Lady" territory, please tell me that is the local animal shelter kitty house....otherwise we may have to ask the nice young men in the clean white coats to step in . The cats have trashed the cabinet doors, and are eating off the chairs and tables. I allow exactly one cat inside regularly, Tiger, sometimes Pal will visit, but not often, the rest of the crew eat outdoors and live in the car shed. Once, just once, I entered the home of an animal hoarder, this was weeks after the poor lady's demise...in the hospital, not the house, she had dozens of cats, dogs, and who knows how many rats, all by then removed to the local shelter. The stink of that place was beyond description, layers for shit on the floor, dead animals in forgotten corners, the strongest cigar I had and vics under my nose wasn't enough. I would have tossed a match and walked away, the place had to be gutted to the studs and washed down with a special solution, they had to call in the same company that cleans up after murders and such because nobody else would touch it.

Fish chunks, not even with a gun to my head would I have that in the house, I don't care how much the critters like it, the smell makes me want to puke. Beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, or meats pretending to be these things, probably horse, I will tolerate the smell of, but the fishy cat food is verboten. Most of them like the dry stuff anyway, Bucky the shop cat insists on canned food, probably because he knows it costs me more money.
