all the best to Zeebill! I had my left knee done last December,And my right knee done Sep. 1st As some of you know, The first week or two after the surgery is an absolute bitch....But its A procedure well worth having. The only real down side-for me anyway-was that after paying those damm medical bills, I don"t have much money left to feed my mosin addiction,And my 9mm addiction, and my m1a addiction,And my-----You know the rest. :D

Bill called me this evening, he is now closer to home in Clarksburg. He is in good spirits, and sounded good. Said he'd probably be in Cburg the rest of the week.

I know one guy who would drag himself off of life support for a free meal, might work to get Bill out of bed a bit quicker :)

Amazing what some guys will do for some attention! Get better quick, and get back doing what needs doing! I have a big firefighter buddy who just retired. He just had a hip replaced this Spring and is doing really well.

Talked with bill again this evening, he is out roaming the halls of the VA hospital :chuckles: He had a bad night with pain in his knee, but they gave him some good meds and got him feeling better, but he didn't sleep. He sounded like his normal self, so all it will take now is a little bit of time, and he'll be roaming the gunshows with me again :D

Thanks for the update Joe, I'll give him a call toward weekend and see how he's doing. If this weather holds out a little longer I might get a bike ride up his way before it starts snowing.

Good news for you, Joe.

Now Bill can help you carry those heavy crates of ammo again....

Make sure he finds a SLOW nurse to chase until the healing is done!

I got a pretty good idea what is going on after hours in that hospital when the meds have been passed out :)

Zeebill has landed. Back in his recliner that is, they let him out today. I'd say he'll show up on here in the next few days

I'm here!!!!! 23 staples, a lot of good pain pills. much tape and gauze pads, and the final hurdle dressing the wound and giving myself a shot in the belly once a day but I am back!!!! Well sort of anyway. Thanks for all the Good Luck and wishes it has apparently worked well so far. I even got to watch my Philly Eagles beat the dreaded Dallas Cowboys last night in over time at their theater. Man I can not tell you what a pleasure it was to see both the Eagles and the weatherman rain on Jerry Jones parade during the night. How anyone in their right mind can sleep on one of those human grunt (never stopping all night) beds is beyond me. I missed each and everyone of you with you senses of humor and combined knowledge. It is just great to be back among you and enjoying your company. God is dood and oh so merciful to us old sinner! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Bill ,

Shot in the stomach? What happened? Did you get bit by a rabid raccoon while you were in there?
