Sino soviets T-56
IS there a growing demand, or are collectors seeking out the Sino-soviets, made 1st six months of 1956 by Russian Instructors (am I correct?) with the Russian letter and number, going up to 5 digits or are there 6 digit ones? Same question for 2nd half of 1956 with rifles of 4,5 or 6 digit numbers. These will all be factory 26 I think. Is there a trend to collect them and are they bringing a higher price? I've been lucky in finding 4 of these, just curious........SBP

I don't know anything about them except what I have read here and it has been awhile. I know we have some guys here that really know their stuff on these. Hang in there a bit and hopefully someone will see this thread and respond.

Re: Sino soviets T-56
I've been dabbling in sks' s lately and was looking at a Sino-Soviet one. I passed because of a mismatched bolt and carrier when I found a so-called "ghost" one. All numbers matching including stock, no arsenal marks, nothing but a 5 digit serial number. Its on layaway, looking forward to getting it. Some say these are first year Sino-Soviet production.
On Facebook? Check out the non-sporter preservationist group at: OOOPS. Deleted by Facebook because it's evil to even discuss collectible firearms on social media these days.
Re: Sino soviets T-56
I wouldn't say people are actively seeking them out as there the most recently imported in significant numbers sks. That being said they diffidently are preferable but people who collect sks's are real sticklers for the numbers matching. These recent albanian imports had alot of these sino soviets and some can be all matching on the outside but have a miss match bolt. I had a letter gun one that was all matching but had a russian bolt. Shot great but eventually sold it for what i bought it for because of the miss matched bolt. Long story short if you have a all matching letter or ghost sks i can see them growing in value more compared to standard norinco's, imo of course.
