Wow... We go from bitching about another forum to listening to baying dogs. A good segway in my opinion.

Let the other forums go down the path of their choice... It's a free Country (For how long who knows) and they can do as they please, as can we. Live & let live.

Obviously, you've never been in a banned before, have you? The name of the song is Live and Let Die.
No words of wisdom come to mind at this time....

I was banned from Gunboards forum 6 months ago during a time in my life that I don't want to live through again. A blood clot formed in my leg that caused a fast moving infection and required amputation of my lower left leg. I'm getting measured and fitted with a prosthetic leg that should be ready in about a month. Anyway after I got home from the hospital and tried to get into the Gunboards forum. I saw I had been banned for good. No word of explanation, just that 11 counts of unapproved comments that I was supposed to have posted. Those comments were supposed to have been posted while I was loosing half my left leg and I never looked at my computer during that whole ordeal. I didn't feel too bad about that because the Gunboards forum was getting a little bit more on my nerves than I could tolerate anyway. I do enjoy this Mosin Nagant forum and the good info. I've found here.

That sounds like a giant suck, sorry to hear it. The other board was sold to some corporation a few years back, you don't have an individual owner to appeal to anymore, likely some sort of committee, I have no clue as I was never a member over there, or had time for such. We try and keep the drama and bullshit to a minimum here because I don't like either of those things. I hope things are healing up well.

The resurrection of this thread reminded me of how many good folks and regular posters that have disappeared into the fog and night over time. This place is like a home away from home for me; the lack of drama here has always been a pleasure.

Junk Yard Thanks for your comments. I don't miss the Gunboards forum. It's too bad committees buy up forums and remake the rules, but that seems to be the way with a lot of other things in the world today. I enjoy reading the comments and responding to them in the MN forum. And Mr. SA 1911a1, I enjoy the "lack of drama here" just as you do.
