Haha! I couldn't get an under mattress safe, I would have about 3' between the mattress and the ceiling! i did try tucking them into bed, but the wife got suspicious of all the quiet and caught me in the act of moving rifles onto the bed. Oops! Here is are a couple pictures of the Finn M91 w/sling swivel. Its in a new stock with a mixmatch of parts. Non-scrubbed 1908 Tula receiver. The magwell s/n doesn't match though and the buttplate has no s/n so I'm still waiting on a more original early M91 to come along.

It was my wifes idea to leave them out until the youngest boy got home, he was impressed. He's seen them all before but usually only a couple at a time.
Longcolt44, I bought a lot of them while living in Brazil, antiques shipped to the door at my parent's house. A few from A. Burns in Acquebogue, NY (can't remember the site's names), some from Empire Arms, some from shops around Ft.Hood. Also the manager a Big5 was a friend and kept an eye out for interesting stuff coming through the store. Of course, this was over a 15 year timespan too.
Sorry, sometimes I get excited talking guns and don't explain well. I was ordering antiques online from US stores and having stuff like antique rifles and ammo sent to my stateside address or local FFL. On business trips and vacations back stateside I would hit up gun stores and pawnshops. I found the two 91/30's with matching Panshin bayo's in a Ft. Hood gun store while checking on my house there. I thought the store was always overpriced, but these two were bargains at the regular price.

You can remember Aquebogue but not Guns and Ammo? I am from NY and I don't remember that name without looking it up, that's Pat Burns, she and her Son have been selling M39's for years and at one time also sold regular Mosins. They are out on the far end of Long Island.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Only because I thought I had received a charge from Albuquerque, NM when I glanced at my bank statement. In my defence, I used to just type "guns" into my browser and it autofilled the rest out and took me where I wanted to go. Magic. Later, the address changed names a couple of times. I had no clue where Aquebogue was, not sure I would set up a warehouse on Long Island to store guns though.
Aquebogue is way out on the end of LI, far away from NYC. It was one of the places that got really hammered from winter storm Nemo yesterday. The remaining Finn rifles should feel right at home just now

[where does your wife sleep, if I may be so bold? If I had THAT many weapons, they would HAVE to be in bed with me..........my closets would be filled................er.......they almost are![/quote]
Under the bed in a special rack after I got rid of standing against her furniture.

I found two more 91/30's hiding under the bed. They have been there a couple of years judging by the dust on the case. I forgot all about them, but was thinking I had a few more when I set them all out. I guess I was right. They are hex receiver's, an Aztec 1930 Tula and a CAI 1931 Izhevsk. Darn things breed like rabbits in the dark!
