Picked this up today

Post by Genetically Swiss »

Made from an original de-mill kit. Four inches added to the original 12" barrel. She's a hefty girl, weighing in around 15 pounds with a fully loaded drum. Finnish KP/31.

Nice! I have been sorely tempted to do the same.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Yes, 9mm Parabellum. Going to test her out at the range tomorrow. I have one 36 round stick and one 70 something drum magazine. I will provide a range report.

Very nice. I picked one up about 6 months ago from my LGS. She runs like a top with either the drums or the stick mags & is a hoot to shoot! Trigger pull is off the charts but the coolness factor is too! Best of luck trying to drift the front sight. Hopefully yours will be spot on as I have had no luck getting mine to budge as they parkerized it in place. Shouldn't matter though as I will be doing an SBR soon. Definitely let us know how she shoots.

Those things are remarkably accurate for what they are. Please do not be a dummy and make the statement of like almost no recoil! I can't believe people would be dumb enough to even say that! For heavens sake we are talking about a 9mm with a 15 pound weight rifle. That's like a whale using a pea-shooter and saying Gee no recoil at all! The drums will sometimes give some jamming trouble and the one way I know to cure it is the drum must be spotlessly clean and have no dents in the metal to impede the flow of shells. I have been looking for a coffin mag for mine as I hear they are super with one. You will enjoy it but I found I soon got over the thrill when I started buying big bunches of 9mm. Back then it was hard to find and super expensive and that is the reason I got a real good buy and trade on mine. They will spit a bunch of black stuff all over the place too so wear old clothes. I have torn mine down once to try and clean it thinking there was old grease living inside the action but it still kept emitting black stuff after a severe cleaning and flushing. I think the grease they used on them might have had maybe graphite or such in it? Enjoy it! At least now you can get ammo without taking a second mortgage on the house and car! Bill

Nice! I've got one also, and its a more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Only problem I've had has been an occasional FTF with the drum, sticks have been 100%
