Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Wow that looks like a ton of fun. I am sitting at 2500 feet with about 10 inches of snow right now. My level of envy is high!

I had to look that one up. I've caught out of almost every port/dock from Cameron to Venice over the years and somehow have skipped over that road down. Nothing like Christmas lights on the bayou this time of year.

I know where you were fishing. We went about a month ago caught nothing, no tidal movement. We had a good open in weekend duck hunting.

We killed 11 the first morning but only 7 the second. Missed a lot and lost a couple. We were on the WMA. I shot this deer thanksgiving day. He was asleep in my lap when he walked out.

My parents and most of my family live in the Franklin parish area. That is where I shot that deer.

Near Winnsboro I take it. I'm almost to Arkansas. Almost walking distance to Corney Lake. That is if I was feeling energetic.

Now that is funny. There's really no hills in Louisiana but around here they refer to my place as the house on the hill. That's only because the road that passes my pond is below the house and it only looks like I'm on a hill. :chuckles:

I remember the first time I went to Winnfield and deer hunt back in the 80's. I told my wife that I wanted to climb a mountain before I die. I told my son when we started to hunt I hope I don't die form climbing the hills over here. :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles:
