I was here back in the 90's, I believe as AKMike, but not sure now, like M91's, thinking of trying to get an example from all 8 factories, but maybe not, as some are quite pricy now,
If memory serves Bob Wheeler started the old board back in '01, this board took over in 2011. Welcome to the board, maybe again.
Hmmm, well, I guess it was the early 2000's then, breathing the air here can cause confusion, being just over the state line from Washington where they smoke the funny cigarettes,

Hello all!
I think I was a member of the old forums long ago (10 years maybe?) Anyway, it's good to be here. Looking forward to surfing some interesting subjects! I have a couple M91/30's and a M44 so I am sure I will find some useful info here.

Thank you!

Hi all,

Greetings from NorCal. A good friend gave me a 1942 M91 Tikka as a late birthday/early Christmas gift last week, I started searching for more info on this old rifle and I found this forums. I'm here to learn about this old relic, looking forward to learn from you all.

Peace,

S-D

Hi All - glad to be here. I am the proud owner of a Polish M44 - only bad thing is the front sight post is missing. Tried to order a replacement from Smith Sights but think I might have been scammed. Would love to hear where one can get hold of replacement front sights.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Just got into this whole mos in addiction. Started with a t53 and then onto a m91/30. Was part of another group but all they did was talk mods, I'm more into the history of these so I did of really enjoy that to much.

New to the forum. I currently own a 1943 91/30 Izhevsh hardwood stock, 1942 91/30 Izhevsh hardwood stock, 1940 91/30 Tula laminate stock, 1933 hex 91/30 Izhevsh hardwood stock, 1932 hex 91/30 Tula hardwood stock and a pristine 1952 polish m44 hardwood. I'm pretty sure I already have a problem.
