I just leave the speakers off all the time unless I need to watch Netflix or youtube. I hate it when noises come out of the computer.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I love the lights!
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I am like JYD, sound is off unless I need it. I do like cranking up the audio and smashing a couple lights when the kids are least expecting it. They don't jump anymore though, kind of ruins the fun.

You can turn them off in your control panel if you like.

Every year I forget about them - that is until Dolk puts them up and I hit them by accident. How else would I know it's Christmas? :D

I spent hours hanging those lights on top of everyone's pages.

And you know lights. They don't always work when hung up and you spend more time trying to find the problem.

Terrific! I didn't know I could break the bulbs!

Now if only my mouse pointer was a Mosin, and a click of the mouse fired a 54r round at them. :popgun:
Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Papers #29: ...if circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens.
