Hmm, we need to get some more input here. Granted, we're showing 530 plus rifles in the arsenal...but we're close to 500 members strong! That's an average of just over 1 rifle per member!

Come on lurkers, post 'em up!

That's hard core. Dude has his own cosmoline supply...probably puts it in his coffee...

Spray Cosmoline
Item number CH-42
Price $5.60 a can
National Automotive Lines Inc
38 West Franklin Street
Shelbyville, Indiana 46176-1250
800-428-4300

Great stuff, spray it on metal, it dries to a wax like coating that is removable with hoppes 9, or other gun cleaners. Good for long term storage once the rifle is wrapped air tight in plastic.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

I love the fact that a member's collection count has to be updated in the time it took to make a few posts :)

Congrats! Where's the photos?

I may be working on number two. I was looking at a Finn, but I don't know if I wanna shell out the 225 for a Finn 91/30. Its a 54 chamber date, but its been ground out. Its got a hex receiver. What do you guys think?

More info needed. Is it a captured 91/30? A 54 Barrel date? If it is a M39 it is a great priceIf it is a tikka 91/30 it is a fair price. If it is something else like a M27 M28 then buy it and run
