Just was curious with everybody writing all over the internet they used to pee down the barrel... Everybody says its gonna rust on here and it smells... Ive mentioned that not even 30 seconds later i ran a few patches till it was bone dry... Everybody here says it will rust immediately... It has been 24 hours and still as clean as a whistle...

You are right of course. We are all idiots to think that pissing in your rifle would be a bad idea. What a bunch of morons we are.

I meant to use maroon, but upon further examination, thought that it might be an arcane racial slur, and decided it best to change it.

Another great idea is to piss all over your boots. As soon as you get it done come on back and tell us how it went.

Being called Pee-Pee boy by everyone who will just assume the piss went into the pants, and not the rifle.

Lol not everybodys pee smell... You need to drink more water jyd =)
To even think about pissing on anything you own, let alone a rifle, I know you had to be shitfaced, no way your piss was smelling good in that condition. All piss contains uric acid no matter how much water you drink, it all smells like...piss, even more so once it's had time to set a while.

I have been on this board, and the old one, just about nine or ten years now, never once have I come across one mention of using piss to clean a bore. Melt ice yes, not on here, but from actual veterans of Korea and WW2. This was done in a severe emergency, and the weapons did not smell fun for some time after that, and it was positively not SOP. I imagine there are some boards around that are populated by children who learn everything about guns, shooting, and war from video games, maybe there you will read nonsense about using piss as a cleaner of weapons. Well, since you are looking for useful things to use your piss for I will tell you some that are based on fact and not fantasy. Using piss to clean a wound, yes, piss from a healthy person is sterile, in day's past it was used in times of dire need to clean a wound, and I believe it still is in the military's medical survival manual like maggot therapy. Tanning leather, piss was an important ingredient in the bath tanners used to cure leather, you don't want to know what the other ingredients were.

The only mention of urinating down the bore was in dire situations where the proper supplies & cleaning equipment was not obtainable. A better than nothing (Not by much) solution & rarely performed in the field. One step away from urban legend & definitely not something I would ever do unless my life depended on it.

I have been reading some Soviet war stories and the author claims to have used pee to "sterilize" wounds. Maybe, if you drank a lot of vodka....... But, it is told for the truth. I have never heard of a "Rusty Rusky", but, who knows.

Surplus Mosin ammo stinks bad enough without adding urine to the brew.

It is truth, urine from a healthy individual is sterile, if you have no other disinfectant to clean a wound piss will do better than nothing. It actually goes back 100's of years, not invented during WW2. Uric acid and high saline content, however very risky if the " donor" is suffering from venereal disease, or a bladder infection. This would be primitive, or last ditch medicine like Maggie the maggot.

On another thought, peepee rifle kid, what did you do? Whip it out and have at it right there on the range? Good way to get pinched, they have law's about that sort of thing.

I'm just curious, how em' er did you get the two barrels to line up to transfer the "fluid" without getting it all over everything else. :facepalm1: I mean, come on, it's an awfully tiny hole to throw a full stream in. :big shock:

Uh, never mind, my weak mind wouldn't understand. :chuckles:
