Hello,

OK, this is my first post. I will be buying my first Mosin Nagant in the next week. Just beginning to be interested in shooting again. I probably have not fired a gun since basic training and that was a very long time ago. It's way too late to call this a mid life crisis. For some unexplainable reason I think the Mosin Nagant is a very cool rifle and an inexpensive way to get into the sport. I plan on only shooting paper targets and the local range and perhaps the occasional watermelon.

I am happy I found this forum and I am sure I will provide a lot of entertainment with many ridiculous newbie questions.

Ciao e grazie

Hello peoples!

This is my first time to the forum, so I'm doing my initial post here as per request.

My name is Chad, and I've owned my Mosin for about 3 months now. I've sadly only gotten to take it out shooting once so far though. I loved every minute of it though and couldn't be happier with the rifle.

I've only ever fired smaller rifles (such as 22s and pelet guns) so this being my first "real" gun I'm truly rather pleased. I love nearly everything about it and can't wait to learn more. I have a few photos taken in some what poor quality that I should have up soon.

Again, hello to all the peoples. I'm excited to be joining your community. >^_^<
