Sorry state of affairs.

Post by millman »

I want to post here tonight in memoriam of my ex-Father in law. He was a first class individual, and he also got me started on the Mosin sickness. Unfortunately, he went to meet his maker on Friday. Thankfully way before his untimely demise he gifted me with 3 Mosins. The rest is history. RIP Kit Carson.
BTW Kit was a hall of fame Knife Guild member. Worth a Google search.

My condolences Erik, that sucks.

Thanks everyone. They had his funeral yesterday, with military honors. Pretty touching.

Hey MH how have you been?
Thoughts and prayers to you. I had an Uncle buried with military honors, I still remember that day. Hard to describe the feelings.

Sorry to hear of your family's loss.

I loved my father-in-law WWII vet of the Army Air Corps in the Pacific, and he never gave me anything like yours did, you're very fortunate.

That '91 would be my prized collector.

My father (Lt. Col. USAFR) WWII, Korea, & VN had disposed of all of his goodies when he left Goose Bay, Labrador AFB in '51.

So I didn't get anything except his Navigator's Watch vintage WWII?

Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
