Happens to everybody, if asked to produce a can opener right now I would be unable to do so despite having at least 6-10 of them from the crates I shot up years ago. I even nailed one to the wall, I just don't remember what wall...mojotrain1 wrote:Ok As mentioned my rifle came from a crate of 20, so I was told. My grandson was the connection to the fellow that ordered the crate. I took the last one. With the crate they ordered two crates of 880 each, rounds of ammo. My grandson brought one case over when he brought my rifle over. I wanted 100 rounds so I opened up the crate and found the tins of ammo. We laughed about the thought of being in a fire fight and trying to open one of the cans. I determined it would take a hammer and a cold chisel to cut the inner side of the rim and bend the lid outwards to reach the ammo. We under took this task on the tail gate of my pickup with neighbors looking on. I had a phone call from my grandson later on and he told me he had found the can opener. Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

They say the memory is the first to go. I can definitely attest to... Um, I, uh... What was I saying?

Jones, I would be laughing, but I get it, and it makes me crazy sometimes. And it has cost me some money recently. I am a mechanic and I have forgotten to double check under the hood or in this case the trunk of a BMW where I was changing a battery and checking some bulbs. I forgot my new Snap On rechargeable impact wrench and of course when we called the customer they said it wasn't there. Cost me 350.00, or the cost of a nice Finn M39! I have lost a couple of nice flashlights like that too.

Remember, Omega 3, B series vitamins, and keep doing things. Those should help.
