The top sling looks like a subgun sling, as mentioned above. The bottom sling is one of the Ww2 Soviet 1941 Pattern "ersatz" emergency slings - these were used on just about every long gun the Soviets had at one time or another...maybe on SVT rifles, but they had a wider version of this sling for those - the SVT 1941 Pattern emergency slings are pretty scarce these days. For a Finn captured rifle I would use a WW2 subgun sling or one of the 1941 Pattern slings before I would use a post-war subgun sling.
Soviet soldiers - and Finns, probably Germans too, who captured these rifles - had one mag in the rifle and 2 in belt pouches. The original Soviet pouches were leather, then in 1941 they came up with a canvas emergency pattern "ersatz" pouth for these. I have several sets listed for sale in the Marketplace Forum here http://www.russian-mosin-nagant-forum.c ... 28&t=20970 , they look like this:

Thank you for your reply. I saw your pouches and would definitely buy some if the mags were obtainable for a reasonable price. I am waiting on the slings I ordered, depending on how they look I may explore some other options.

Re: Just Purchased First SVT-40, Anything I Should Know?
Finally picked up my rifle. It is awesome!!! Gas system has no pits or abnormal wear, bore is shiny, and overall it is in really good condition. It should be a really good shooter. I hope to take it out this weekend.

After-market magazines vary in specification from the originals. I got an a extra and had to file down the lugs at the back of the magazine and file down the loading ramp.
